Greetings!!!

Greetings from the Arctic, to all our friends and family! Spring is in the air here! No, really-it is! They even said so on the news! This picture was taken on April 20th. Aaaah... Spring is nearing, the snow is almost gone, and Robins have returned to the Valley. It hasn't been a particularly harsh winter-but it has dragged on for so long. Just days after this all of our snow was gone and we were able to rake the majority of our yard. Yeah-let's get on with Spring!Ugh!!!! Happy May Day!!! Yah, right! It snow, sleeted, haled and rained. OK, I'll admit it- the sun did shine (for like two minutes). Are you feeling my disdain for Spring Mountain weather?
And here is the view from my living room this morning! What a beautiful sight! (If only it was Christmas morning!)
We really do love living in the mountains but sometimes we can't muster the strength to restrain ourselves. So we build a fire, put on our snow parkas, and shake a frustrated fist at the sky in the direction of the pesky snow clouds. (Or we blog about it.) But we get on with life; afterall, "If you're lucky enough to live in the mountains...You're lucky enough!"

I love it!! This time of year our weather seems so much further apart, I've already had Bo mow the yard and we have tulips in bloom. Maybe, just maybe, you need to come and see us all the way down here in Council!! We love you and miss you!
