4 weeks later...

She's only a week old in this pic, it's one of my favorites
Four weeks.
Three weeks.

Three and a half.

How to catch a pig

This was supposed to be his last day, it would have been a good last image in our memories. This was Tuesday, we moved him on Sunday.

.
Trails of food do not work
Big sticks do not work either. Vinny had to stay in the back of the truck. He kept eating the bait.

Lola slept in the truck seat, this was a two man job.Sheets and lead ropes do not work, either.
A big stick and corral work though. Mr. Pigerstein did not want to get into the trailer. Tahoe and him came out mostly unscathed, the pig now lives in Council at the Hulin Funny Farm.

Visitors

Saturday afternoon, Rick came knocking on our door. What a suprise! The three of joined him for dinner at Grams Arlene's house. We had good food and a good visit.

Later Saturday, Aunt Jane and Uncle Tony stopped by, Uncle Tony had not met Lola yet. So you know what this means; Lola has now been dubbed "Gus".

Lola's First Bath

Lola received (earned :)) her first bath this morning! We were going to wait until her Daddy got home from work tonight, but during her breakfast this morning she proved to us everything was working just fine in the poop department and we changed bathtime to before Daddy went to work.

The Best Gifts Do Come In Small Packages

I loved being pregnant, but of course like most first time mom's, I walked around with nagging "what if's" in the back of my mind constantly. Then she finally arrived and the doctor handed me a tiny, perfect little human that took just nine months to make. It is by far life's most amazing miracle!

Our New Baby Girl!!

Lola Sue: July 29, 2007 8 lbs.12 ozs. 21.5 inches and perfect as can be!!!
Long, strong, monkey toes (all ten accounted for).
